SERVICE OVERVIEW

Company websites and landing pages with a clear purpose

Web design connects the visual appearance of a website with its information structure and usability. I bring these together in a site that explains your services, provides orientation and guides visitors towards a relevant enquiry. You work with one direct contact for structure, design and technical implementation.

This suits service businesses, trades and other companies whose websites no longer reflect what they do. Services may be difficult to find, the mobile layout may be confusing or an advertisement may lead to a page that is too general. We start with your visitors’ questions and your business objectives.

SERVICE SCOPE

What I design for your website

Site structure and user journeys

We clarify which services to highlight, who you want to reach and what visitors need to know before making an enquiry. This produces a clear site structure with relevant entry points, understandable headings and purposeful contact options. A landing page focuses on one offer; a company website brings together several services and information about your business.

Visual design and responsive layouts

I align typography, colours, imagery, spacing and recurring components with your business. Existing brand materials can provide the starting point. The design accommodates different amounts of content and different screen sizes. Buttons, forms and navigation need to remain easy to recognise and use on a smartphone.

Implementation, interactions and technical quality

I implement the agreed pages and check important user journeys. This includes working forms, understandable error messages, keyboard operation and appropriate use of motion. Animation is used selectively, for orientation or subtle transitions. Loading behaviour, heading structure and metadata are considered during implementation.

An illustrative user journey. The actual structure follows your offer and your visitors’ questions.

The following examples describe possible assignments, not documented client projects.

Building a company website

You want to present your business professionally for the first time or replace an existing site-builder website. We organise your offer and develop the agreed pages with suitable content, design and enquiry paths.

Designing a landing page for one offer

An advertisement or campaign should lead to a specific service. The page explains that offer, answers common questions and lets visitors enquire directly. I can also handle Google Ads and tracking; we agree the scope together.

Refreshing an existing website

Your services have changed, the website looks dated or it is difficult to use on mobile. We assess content, structure and existing technology. Useful elements can remain; changes to URLs and links are planned beforehand.

DELIVERABLES & SCOPE

What you receive from the agreed project

Your agreed deliverables

We agree the deliverables before starting. Depending on the scope, these may include:

  • An agreed site structure with a clear purpose for each page
  • Consistent design for the agreed desktop and mobile layouts
  • Implemented pages with the agreed forms and functionality
  • A reviewed preview and a handover with clear responsibility for content and maintenance

What we clarify beforehand

We agree whether existing copy and images will be reused, revised or created. Image rights and required legal texts need to be addressed. I also offer landing page consulting, tracking and Google Ads: these can be combined with your website project or commissioned separately. We define the scope and responsibilities before work begins.

Effort and costs

Effort depends on the number and depth of pages, available content, desired design and required features. Your offer, current website and objective are enough for an initial discussion. You receive an agreed scope; costs and timing are clarified before commissioning.

WORKING TOGETHER

From your offer to an agreed website

Clarify goals and content

We discuss audiences, services, existing materials and the enquiries you want to receive. For an existing website, we review important pages and entry points.

Develop the structure and design

We agree the page structure and visual direction using concrete layouts. You can assess whether the offer is understandable and the presentation suits your business.

Implement and test the pages

The agreed pages are built in a preview environment. I check mobile layouts, navigation, forms and important interactions; you review the content and presentation.

Approve and hand over

After your approval, we arrange publication. We clarify how content will be maintained and what support you need after launch.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Designing websites and implementing their functionality.

My project experience includes company websites, store templates and landing pages. I connect design with the functionality that visitors and site owners need.

Agency assignment · WIZMO · 2021–2023

Two WordPress company websites

Alongside Shopware projects, my WIZMO assignment included two WordPress company websites. Earlier agency work also covered Joomla websites and store templates implemented from design specifications.

Confidential agency partnership

Landing pages, themes and adaptations

Working under an agency’s name, I contribute to Shopware landing pages, themes, small plugins and updates. This connects the visible interface with ongoing technical development.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Questions about your web design project

Do you design websites without Shopware?

Yes. I design and develop company websites and landing pages independently of Shopware projects. We choose an appropriate technical foundation based on your content, required features and future maintenance. You do not need an online store.

Can you redesign my existing website?

Yes. I first review its content, structure and technical foundation. We then agree which elements remain and which need updating. Important URLs and existing links are considered, and necessary redirects are planned.

Do I need to supply finished copy, images and a design?

You do not need a finished design. Existing logos, colours, copy, photographs and examples help guide the discussion. We clarify which materials can be reused, what is missing and who will create it. Content creation and sourcing are explicitly included in the scope where needed.

Do you also offer landing page consulting, tracking and Google Ads?

Yes. I advise on existing or planned landing pages, develop the agreed page and can set up tracking and Google Ads campaigns. Ongoing campaign management is also available. You can commission these services individually or together, with the advertisement, destination and measurement aligned. We agree the scope, access and advertising budget before launch.

What does web design cost and how long does it take?

This depends on the number and depth of pages, available materials, review requirements and technical features. After an initial discussion, you receive an estimate and proposal for the agreed scope. Timing accounts for feedback and content delivery; a fixed delivery promise would not be reliable without those details.

I read your enquiry and get back to you. Together, we clarify your goals, constraints and open questions.

  2. Choose a practical starting point

Depending on the project, we start with a specific implementation or an analysis agreed in advance.

  3. Agree on scope and a proposal

You know which services and deliverables are included. We agree on scope, effort and costs before you commission the work.

I will reply to this address.

What do you offer, who do you want to reach and what should the website do? A link to your current site and examples of a preferred visual direction help. You do not need a finished concept.
