A store that fits the way you work.

Your online store needs to do more than display products: it must receive data, process orders and work reliably day to day. I help you achieve that through Shopware development, integrations and technical support.

YOUR STARTING POINT

Build a new store, add specific features or improve what exists.

You are planning a new store.

We clarify your product range, audiences, existing systems and the processes behind your sales. This defines a scope that brings together design, store functionality and operation.

Standard features are not enough.

Special pricing rules, internal approvals or missing connections cannot always be solved through configuration. I assess whether an existing extension fits or custom development makes sense.

Custom plugins →

Your store needs technical care.

Errors, slow pages and postponed updates make daily operation harder. We identify the causes and prioritise improvements by impact and effort.

DEVELOPMENT & DESIGN

Good design has to work in your store.

A storefront should guide customers from their first visit through categories and product pages to checkout. I connect design with its technical implementation in Shopware, including mobile layouts, reusable components and maintainable content.

For an existing design, I assess implementation as a theme or storefront customisation. For new functionality, we examine the business process first and then choose the appropriate technical extension.

What can be built for your store

  • Plugins for specific business rules and additional features
  • Apps for API-based extensions and external services
  • Changes to navigation, product presentation and checkout
  • Administration extensions for internal workflows

The right solution depends on your Shopware environment, existing extensions and future update requirements.

DATA & INTEGRATIONS

Less duplicate work between your store and your business.

Product data, stock and orders belong in a clear process. I connect Shopware to ERP, PIM, CRM and custom applications.

Clarify data ownership first

Which system owns prices and stock? Where are customer details maintained? Together, we define transfer direction, update rules and error handling. Technical integration follows with appropriate test cases.

Migration that accounts for the existing system

When changing systems, we consider data, extensions, existing URLs and important business processes. Migration is prepared in a test environment; acceptance, cutover and rollback options are agreed before launch.

ONGOING OPERATION

The work continues after launch.

New requirements, updates and errors are part of a store's lifecycle. An agreed support arrangement provides a clear scope for handling them.

Measure before optimising

For performance problems, I investigate the affected pages and workflows rather than changing settings indiscriminately. Technical SEO, mobile usability and accessibility are considered within the agreed scope.

Make changes in a controlled way

Updates and changes are planned around dependencies and important store functions. We agree responsibilities, access and the scope of ongoing support beforehand.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Questions about working together on Shopware

Which Shopware tasks does Stefan Pilz handle?

I develop plugins, themes and integrations, customise storefronts and help with migrations, troubleshooting and ongoing support. My offer also includes web design and technical implementation. We agree the specific scope around your store and business processes.

Can you develop my existing store further?

Yes. We first review the Shopware environment, existing extensions and your goal. This shows which changes are possible on the current system and what technical preparation is needed. A complete rebuild is not automatically required.

Do you also work with agencies and internal development teams?

Yes. I support merchants, agencies and existing teams with clearly defined tasks or agreed ongoing development. We establish responsibilities, technical access, communication and acceptance criteria before starting. All collaboration is remote.

How are effort and costs estimated for a Shopware project?

We first clarify the required functionality, current technical setup and dependencies. A limited analysis can help resolve open technical questions. On that basis, we agree services, effort and costs before implementation.

What should my first enquiry include?

Briefly describe your current store, the change you need and a possible timeframe. The store URL, Shopware version and affected extensions help with the assessment. You do not need a completed specification or credentials for the first conversation.
